The Year of the Tiger!

Monday, December 21, 2009
2010 is the year for cats and for Flowers by Yoshi to grow and to growl! We welcome you back to new New-News! page after several months of inactivity. We hope you will follow Flowers by Yoshi in the coming weeks and months on this blogsite to look for the latest arrangements by Yoshi and to see the newest floral materials available for you to decorate your home, office, or wedding! Most importantly, we hope you'll join us on this page by adding your comments and ideas!

It has been a busy summer, autumn and Christmas season for Yoshi. This month Yoshi has had lessons almost everyday. Christmas wreaths were a very popular item this year!

In December Yoshi and Ron traveled to Dallas for a demonstration program for the Dallas chapter of Ikebana International. Over 50 members and guests gathered at the Milestone Culinary Arts Center in Dallas in the large teaching theater to watch Yoshi design arrangements for Christmas and for the New Years. The arrangements were then raffled off during a wonderful lunch prepared by the professionals of the culinary school.
